Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in York is seeking a motivated Band 2 Receptionist to join the Dermatology Team. The successful candidate will manage patient enquiries, maintain sensitive information confidentiality, and provide exceptional administrative support. Dermatology Patient Receptionist

We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity to join our Dermatology Team as a Band 2 Receptionist/Administrator. The post is based at York Teaching Hospital and the successful applicant will join a small team providing administration and reception cover, and will act as the initial point of contact for patients and their families.

Main duties of the job

The role involves dealing with routine enquiries, processing referrals, recording information on relevant systems, and performing other administrative tasks. The post holder must maintain confidentiality at all times when handling personal and sensitive information.

We are looking for a self‑disciplined and motivated individual with good communication skills who is eager to work hard alongside our existing team.
