Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a registered nurse with paediatric and/or dermatology experience to lead nurse-led clinics and coordinate the patient pathway for dermatology paediatric patients and their families.

The post involves travelling to Arrowe Park and St Catherines hospital for clinics within a multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care and education, supporting families throughout their journey with us.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Significant paediatrics experience or dermatology experience.
• Willingness to travel to Arrowe Park and St Catherines hospital for clinics.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse who is looking for a new challenge in there career. If you are in a paediatic nursing career or have significant dermatological experience please read on. This is an exciting opportunity to be in a leading role delivering high quality care and providing support to the Dermatology Paediatric patients and their families. The role involves supporting the Multidisciplinary Team providing high quality service for Paediatric patients and their families throughout their journey with us. The successful candidate will be developed to obtain skills to enable them to manage and maintain a case load of paediatric patients, undertaking nurse-led clinics and performing diagnostic tests enabling patients to have the best appropriate treatment suited for them. You will play a key role in co-ordination of the patient pathway and will be an advocate for our patients. A back ground in Paediatrics and/or Dermatology care would be essential to the role. The post holder will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, an ability to prioritise workload, be flexible in approach, be able to exercise initiative and demonstrate a consistently high level of professionalism. This job requires the post holder to travel to Arrowe Park and St Catherines hospital for clinics.
