Job summary

18 Week Support Limited is seeking experienced Dermatology Outpatient Nurses to support Saturday and Sunday weekend insourcing clinics in London. You will work alongside consultants and clinical teams to deliver patient-centred care across the patient journey, contributing to efficient clinic operations and safe care delivery.

The role requires current NHS dermatology experience, RN registration and active UK registration, with flexible weekend availability and a locum contract of 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Be currently working within an NHS dermatology service, providing supervision and leadership.
• Have recent, hands-on experience supporting patients within dermatology outpatient clinics.
• Have been actively undertaking this work for at least 6 months within the past 12 months.
• Proven experience working within an NHS dermatology outpatient setting.
• Proven experience working within an NHS dermatology surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and setting up clinics, treatment rooms, equipment, instruments and procedure trolleys.
• Supporting outpatient clinic preparation and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Conducting patient observations and assessments where appropriate.
• Assisting consultants and clinicians during patient consultations and procedures.
• Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of patient care.
• Providing patient education and treatment advice where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensuring clinics run safely and efficiently in line with clinical standards and patient safety requirements.
