An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic registered nurse within the dermatology cancer team.
The successful candidate will join a specialist dermatology team focusing on cancer care. The role is based within the dermatology outpatient setting at the treatment centre.

Be professional and legally accountable for all aspects of your work as an autonomous practitioner.
Undertake evidence-based, comprehensive assessments and treatments for patients, including those with complex presentations and psychological considerations, using investigative and analytical skills with a flexible approach. This includes managing new referrals from Primary Care.
Perform fundamental and advanced nursing duties within local policies, procedures, and guidelines, reporting to the Consultant Nurse for Skin Cancer.
Prepare and manage face-to-face skin cancer clinics to meet departmental demand, providing diagnosis and treatment advice within practice guidelines.
Develop systems and models of nursing practice that contribute to the quality of patient experience.
Contribute to performance management by delivering fundamental and advanced nursing care efficiently.
Work as part of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team, handling and communicating complex and sensitive information to patients and colleagues.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department and strategically.
Continuously develop clinical and managerial skills within the specialty.
