Job summary

Dermatology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in daily patient care, charting, and clinic flow across multiple locations. You will prep patients, record histories, take vital signs, assist with procedures, manage e-prescriptions, and ensure timely communication.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and MA certification; onboarding includes EMR training and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical practice operations and patient care standards.

• Ability to assist in a variety of common office procedures.
• Ability to take vital signs, if applicable.

• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to use good reasoning and judgment and react calmly in emergency situations.

• Knowledge of basic arithmetic and medical terminology.
• Ability to work with electric medical record technology as a primary means documentation.
• Proficiency in the operation of a computer keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document medical histories.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by assisting with procedures.
• Maintain exam and treatment rooms, clean and sterilize instruments.
• Manage patient communications and triage inquiries.
• Process referrals and coordinate tests or treatments as directed by providers.
• Handle scheduling and documentation in the electronic medical record.
