Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic General Practitioner with dermatology focus to contribute to a wide dermatology service for the Fylde coast at Clifton Hospital, Lytham St Annes. The role includes outpatient clinics, skin surgery, and remote review of inpatients as requested by consultants.

You will join a team of consultants, GPwERs and dermatology nurses providing comprehensive care, with opportunities to develop new skills and contribute to patient care

Qualifications

• MB ChB or equivalent.
• MRCP/GP or equivalent.
• Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent.
• Skin surgery skills/course.
• Higher Degree.
• Previous experience in clinical dermatology.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of consultants, Speciality Doctors and GPwERs, supported by dermatology clinical nurse specialists, providing outpatient general dermatology clinics.
• This role includes minor surgery clinics and a weekly Local Skin MDT.
• Undertake new and follow up consultations of patients referred to the dermatology service by GPs.
• Ensure a high standard of medical and surgical care within a friendly, innovative team.
