Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to join the Dermatology Team at the Birmingham Skin Centre, City Hospital. The post offers a permanent full-time contract (10 sessions per week) with a broad subspecialty practice in general dermatology, paediatric dermatology, skin cancer and related areas.

The successful candidate will participate in in-hours on-call and contribute to teaching, research and service development.

Qualifications

• Must be on GMC Specialist Register in Dermatology, or within 6 months of CCT.
• Broad-based dermatology background with sub-specialty interests encouraged.
• Willingness to participate in in-hours on-call rota and teaching, research, and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatology services including general dermatology, paediatric dermatology and skin cancer.
• Participate in departmental teaching, research, and service development.
• Contribute to on-call rotas and undergraduate/postgraduate teaching.
