Job summary

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to deliver specialist dermatology services in Torquay within an established NHS foundation trust. The role offers a permanent, full-time position (10 PAs, about 40 hours weekly) with a competitive annual salary and UK visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinics, MDT participation, teledermatology support for GPs, teaching and professional development, and service

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• On Specialist Register in Dermatology or eligible via CCT/Portfolio Pathway.
• Advanced qualifications in dermatology recognised by GMC.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist dermatology consultations for inpatients and outpatients.
• Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions.
• Respond to inpatient dermatology referrals and advise accordingly.
• Deliver Advice and Guidance including teledermatology for GPs.
• Participate in weekly MDT meetings and supervise colleagues.
• Contribute to service planning, governance, audits and research.
