The NHS Department of Dermatology is seeking a part-time consultant (8 PA) to run a range of clinics at University Hospital Lewisham and Guys and St Thomas' Hospital. The role includes general adult, paediatric dermatology and skin cancer clinics, plus inpatient review of acute referrals.
You will contribute to MDTs, CPD events and lead the department while delivering high-quality patient care across multiple sites in South East London.
The Department of Dermatology is seeking one part-time (8 PA) substantive consultant for a joint post, the post holder will run a range of clinics based at University Hospital Lewisham (UHL) and Guys and St Thomas' Hospital. This post will include general adult, paediatrics dermatology clinics and skin cancer clinics. The post also includes inpatient review of acute dermatology referrals. The post may have a requirement for flexible working across other South East London dermatology sites depending on service demand. The job plan is anticipated to contain a total of 8 Programmed Activities per week. 5.5pas to be carried out at the UHL site and 2.5pas Guys and St Thomas' Hospital paediatric dermatology. This is an outline programme and you will be expected to discuss and agree a detailed job plan including your personal and professional objectives with your Clinical Lead within 3 months of your start date.
The job plan will be negotiated between the consultant and his/her Clinical Lead at least annually.
