Job summary

A six-month Junior Clinical Fellow post in the Dermatology Department at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, working with ten consultants. The post suits doctors aiming for national specialist training or CESR, with allocated time for specialist interests and research and no on-call commitment.

Candidates need to have completed FY2 competencies and hold, or be eligible for, full GMC registration. The post offers in-house training, study leave, and the chance to work across paediatric,

Qualifications

• FY2 competencies completed.
• Evidence of career progression, such as attempted or cleared MRCP part 1.
• Full GMC registration, or eligibility to hold it, with a licence to practise.
• One year NHS experience.
• Dermatology experience to date.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full range of specialist dermatology clinics for the Health Board's population.
• Run general medical, one-stop lesion, paediatric, biologics and phototherapy clinics.
• Hold joint vulval clinics with Gynaecology and joint Dermatology/Rheumatology clinics.
• Work with Medical Illustration on the Teledermatology Service.
• Hold outpatient clinics across five hospitals in the Health Board.
• Contribute to clinical governance meetings and case presentations.
