Job summary

Omnes Healthcare is seeking a committed Dermatologist to join our outpatient clinics across Cumbria and Lancashire, delivering dermatology diagnostics and surgical procedures in a community setting.

You will undertake autonomous prescribing for patients, conduct triage and assessments, perform minor skin surgeries such as excisions of low-risk basal cell carcinomas, and contribute to audits and clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration is required.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a community setting.
• Autonomous prescribing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical triage for dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments and management for acute and chronic dermatological conditions.
• Perform minor dermatologic surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinomas, following national guidelines.
• Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership.
• Provide comprehensive, systematic patient assessments, including lifestyle considerations.
• Participate in tele-dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish care pathways.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.

We are seeking a committed Dermatologist to participate in our outpatient clinics across Cumbria and Lancashire to will undertake dermatological diagnostic and surgical procedures as well as autonomous prescribing for patients in a community clinic.

Key Duties

• Conduct clinical triage for dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for both acute and chronic dermatological conditions.


• Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines.


• Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership.


• Provide comprehensive, systematic patient assessments, including consideration of lifestyle impacts.


• Participate in tele-dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish appropriate care pathways.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
