Page Personnel is assisting a prestigious UK law firm in City of London. They seek a Derivatives Paralegal to coordinate hedge fund launches and supervise ongoing legal, transactional and regulatory matters across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials.
• Paralegal experience within a law firm or financial institution.
• Exposure to derivatives, trading, finance or related transactional work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the launch of new hedge funds and related workstreams.
• Manage ongoing legal, transactional and regulatory matters post-launch.
• Work closely with partners and associates on active client mandates.
• Monitor progress of multiple negotiations and ensure key deadlines are met.
• Liaise directly with hedge fund managers, brokers and financial institutions.
• Assist with the negotiation of trading and financing documentation.
• Support document execution and transaction management processes.
• Conduct legal and market practice research where required.
• Help implement regulatory-driven changes across existing arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records and track key deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support the wider team on derivatives, trading and financing matters.
