Job description

Derbyshire FA is seeking a Football Development Officer to coordinate disability football provision across Derbyshire and develop solutions to promote equality and inclusion both on and off the pitch.

Role Overview

  • Support the delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy, The FA Disability Football Gameplan, and the Derbyshire County FA Business Strategy.
  • Lead and develop the Derbyshire County FA Strategic Inclusion Advisory Group.
  • Coordinate disability football programs across Derbyshire.
  • Create innovative ways to increase participation and engage underrepresented groups in football.
  • Align with Derbyshire County FA's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion objectives.
  • Assist England Football Accredited Clubs to achieve 3-star Thriving Community Club status.
  • Support growth and retention of disability football.
  • Promote the adoption of FA technology systems in grassroots football.
  • Ensure compliance with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance.
  • Implement and maintain the FA's Safeguarding 365 Standard within Football.
