Cencora Alloga in Derby is seeking a Class 1 Driver / Shunter to provide a safe, reliable transport service across the UK from our Derby Commercial Park distribution centre. You will deliver to destinations nationwide and assist with on-site shunting, while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.

Applicants should have a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with 2+ years of Class 1 driving experience and a professional, customer‑focussed approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• NVQ Level 2 (desirable).
• Good understanding of GDP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely, efficiently and on time.
• Carry out shunting duties on site as required.
• Maintain communication with Transport Office and report delays.
• Complete delivery documentation including proofs of delivery and returns.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to road laws, speed limits and company policies.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with requirements.
• Report incidents or temperature excursions promptly.
• Maintain high safety and professionalism at all times.
