Established Engineering firm specialising in repairing and maintaining HGV / Heavy Automotive / Off Highway / Defence Vehicles requires a Deputy Workshop Manager to join their team in Coventry. The role will remain as a hands on technician with additional managerial responsibilities. Clear career path to Workshop Manager role in the near future.

Requirement/Experience/Competence/Qualifications – Deputy Workshop Manager:

* Proven experience of repair & maintenance of HGV / Construction Equipment / Heavy Plant / MoD / Defence or similar equipment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel) or willing to work towards.
* Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
* Displays willingness to follow instruction and learn new tasks.
* Knowledge of QHSE Legislation
* Hold a valid driving licence.
* Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Deputy Workshop Manager, Automotive Mechanical Fitter, Specialist Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Fitter and be living within a commutable distance of Coventry, Birmingham, Rugby, Nuneaton, Warwick or be willing to relocate.
