Job summary

The post is part-time (36 hours) to be worked across day and night shifts in a 24/7/365 service; secondment from current line manager considered.

You will deputise for the Ward Manager, co-ordinate and develop the nursing team, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with Trust policies and professional

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse with Band 5 NHS experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative.
• Excellent communication skills and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support Ward Manager in all ward management duties.
• Coordinate and develop the nursing team to ensure high-quality care.
• Ensure staff comply with Trust policies and professional standards.
• Provide cover as required to meet day/night 24/7 service needs.
