Qualifications

  • A current NMC Pin number (RMN).
  • A legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team.
  • Promote respect and advocacy for all patients.
  • Participate actively in the multidisciplinary team.
  • Liaise effectively with MDT to assess and manage risks.
  • Regularly review risk factors and work with the MDT.
  • Act as the primary nurse during inpatient stays.
  • Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based.
  • Undertake clinical supervision to develop competence.
  • Mentor/support students and support workers.
  • Supervise junior staff in executing care plans.
  • Participate in clinical audits, risk management, and reporting.

Job description

What you'll be working:

We're flexible, so you'll work a total of 37.5 hours per week, on a rota basis (Days & Nights).

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team.
  • Promote respect and advocacy for all patients.
  • Participate actively in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilizing appropriate assessments.
  • Liaise effectively with MDT to assess and manage risks identified through patient assessments.
  • Regularly review risk factors and work with the MDT to modify care plans as needed.
  • Act as the primary nurse during inpatient stays.
  • Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based and aligns with NICE guidelines and company policies.
  • Undertake clinical supervision to develop competence and practice.
  • Mentor/support students and support workers as appropriate.
  • Supervise junior staff in executing care plans.
  • Ensure effective supervision and support to the nursing team each shift.
  • Participate in clinical audits, risk management, and incident reporting.
