We have an exciting role for a Band 6 RMN on our Dementia Admission ward which is located on the Chase Farm Hospital Site in Enfield. Are you a dynamic, forward thinking Nurse, either in a junior management role or have the aptitude and skills to move into such a role? If the answer is yes to this then this could be the role for you. You must be able to demonstrate commitment and passion for older adult’s mental health care and have the drive and ambition to provide safe, quality and patient centred care to our service users, families and their carers. The post holder will work closely with and deputise for the ward manager in their absence. The post holder will be a senior member of the ward nursing team, working closely with your other Band 6 colleague and providing a strong clinical presence to the unit and provide leadership, support, teaching and supervision to other junior members of the team. Ward rotation will be a requirement of the post holder with the Older Adults inpatient service. An informal visit to the ward is strongly encouraged. The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.
In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
