Job summary

Priory Hospital Dewsbury is recruiting a Deputy Ward Manager on Jubilee Ward. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role requires RMN registration and brings leadership to the ward, with a focus on delivering high-quality clinical care.

You will work with the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team to uphold standards, support staff development, and create a safe, therapeutic environment that supports patient recovery. Shortlisting may begin on receipt of applications.

Qualifications

• Active RMN registration with NMC and revalidation.
• Trained Assessor/Supervisor.
• Clinical supervision experience essential; CPD ongoing.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development and leadership.
• Good computer skills.

This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Manager to join the team on the Jubilee Ward. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.

As Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the effective leadership and day-to-day management of the ward. Working alongside the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will help drive high standards of clinical care, promote a positive patient experience, and support the development of a motivated and skilled workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate nurse to develop their leadership skills, influence service delivery, and make a meaningful difference to the lives of those in our care.
