Job summary

Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our 24-bed ward as Deputy Ward Sister. You will support day-to-day leadership, supervise junior staff, and ensure safe, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with current NMC registration.

As Deputy Ward Sister, you will support the leadership and day-to-day management of the ward, regularly taking charge and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

You will act as a professional role model, providing clinical leadership, supporting staff development, and contributing to both clinical and non-clinical governance initiatives.

Working closely with the Ward Sister and multidisciplinary team, you will help maintain and improve care standards, drive service development, and promote evidence-based practice to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
