Job summary

Distinct | B Corp is seeking an experienced Treasury professional to lead and shape the function within a Private Equity backed business with a strong brand.

You will drive liquidity, FX, commodity and interest rate risk management, overseeing hedging and derivatives while partnering with senior stakeholders and banking partners to optimise funding and performance. The role blends strategy with hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong Treasury and financial markets knowledge.

I am exclusively recruiting an experienced Treasury professional to take a hands on and strategic role within a well known Private Equity backed business with a strong brand and presence.

You will lead the day to day Treasury function while also helping shape its development as the business grows. The role covers liquidity, FX, commodity and interest rate risk, banking and financial markets, alongside involvement in financing, M&A and other corporate finance activity.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, banking partners and the wider business, providing technical expertise, managing financial exposures and identifying opportunities to improve Treasury performance.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Risk

• Lead the management of FX, commodity and interest rate exposures and hedging.
• Oversee derivatives, valuations, hedge accounting and counterparty risk.
• Ensure Treasury activity operates within agreed policies and risk limits.

Liquidity & Banking

• Lead cash forecasting, liquidity planning and day-to-day cash management.
• Manage banking relationships and treasury transactions.
• Optimise liquidity, funding costs and banking arrangements.

Strategic & Corporate Finance

• Provide Treasury input into refinancing, new facilities, debt/capital markets, M&A and other strategic projects.
• Assess funding requirements, market conditions and financial risk.
• Support the business and Private Equity stakeholders on key financing decisions.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and develop the Treasury team, providing technical direction, coaching and support.
• Build capability, strengthen controls and embed best practice.
• Balance day-to-day execution with longer-term development of the function.

Business Partnership & Improvement

• Provide clear Treasury reporting, analysis and recommendations.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business and challenge where appropriate.
• Improve Treasury processes, systems, controls and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and commercial value.

Experience in a laerge, complex or Private Equity-backed environment would be advantageous.
