Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust in Stockport is seeking a Deputy Team Manager for the Community Mental Health Team. You will support the team manager to coordinate care and ensure cohesive, efficient service delivery for adults with severe mental health needs.
The role involves acting as a named worker for a complex caseload, performing holistic assessments, planning interventions, and contributing to service development within a transforming CMHT.
An opportunity has arisen for a deputy team manager within a Community Mental Health, providing specialist mental health care to the population of Stockport. The Secondary Care CMHT support residents with severe and enduring mental health conditions. population we serve.
This an exciting time for Stockport CMHT. We are currently undergoing a transformation within our service as part of the National Transformations of community services and the local Living Well developments. It is an opportunity to be part of our service development, with planned investment in our staff and new role development.
The CMHT work with people aged 16 and over with severe and enduring mental health and social care needs.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the CMHT team manager in managing and coordinating the Community Mental Health Team and ensuring that the team works cohesively and meets its objectives in the most effective and efficient way,
The post-holder will act as a named worker for a reduced caseload of mental health service users who have complex needs.

To support the team manager in ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with the Professionals Code of Conduct and reflects the requirements of Pennine Care.
