This role has a starting salary of £52,047 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.
This is an opportunity to join our Trading Standards Senior Management Team as a Deputy Team Manager. You will be based in Aylesbury or Reigate and will be expected to attend the office 2 days per week.

About the Role
As a Deputy Team Manager, you will manage a team of officers and take a lead in legal matters for the service; including the Enforcement Policy, Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act Policy and our authorisations. You will have responsibility for responding to Freedom of Information Requests and formal complaints.
You will provide support to the Senior Appropriate Officer, as required by the National Crime Agency for Proceeds of Crime Act matters and will deputise when appropriate for the Trading Standards Manager. As part of the team, you will have a key role to play in building and sustaining relevant partnerships, e.g with other agencies, businesses, local authorities and other Council services.

The role holder will need to have the willingness and ability to travel around the county to meet the demands of the role. Satisfactory DBS clearance is also required for this role.
