ProCook is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to join our Merry Hill Shopping Centre team in Brierly Hill, Dudley. This key leadership role supports the Store Manager, coaches the team on the shop floor, and ensures exceptional customer experiences while driving commercial results.

You'll lead daily operations, inventory, merchandising, and standards, with a focus on developing staff, delivering KPIs, and stepping in when the Store Manager is absent. Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2+ years' supervisory or deputy management experience.
• Experience in retail or hospitality is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and people-support skills.

This is a key leadership role supporting the Store Manager in building a high-performing team from day one, shaping a strong store culture, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving strong commercial results. You'll be a visible leader on the shop floor, coaching and supporting the team daily, stepping up to lead in the Store Manager's absence, and helping ensure smooth operations across sales, stock, service, and standards. You'll work closely with the Store Manager and Regional Manager to deliver the strategy, hit performance targets, and keep the store running at its best.

You'll help drive daily KPIs, support delivery of monthly plans, ensure excellent store standards, and contribute to smooth inventory and operational management. You’ll also help build a positive, high-energy team culture by leading from the front and celebrating success. We're looking for someone who can support and develop teams, drive performance, and help create a great store environment for both customers and colleagues.

You’ll need:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a supervisory or deputy management role (essential)
• Experience in retail or hospitality is mandatory
• Strong leadership and people support skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence using sales data
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong operational understanding and attention to detail

This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends. The schedule consists of one full weekend off, one weekend on, one Saturday off, and one Sunday off within a 4-week cycle.

As part of your onboarding, you'll complete mandatory training including two days at our Store Support Centre in Gloucester and 4 weeks at one of our training stores. The timing and order of this training may vary.
