ProCook is opening a new Newcastle Eldon Square store in 2027 and seeks a Deputy Store Manager to lead from day one. You will coach and support the team, drive sales, manage stock and store standards, and collaborate with the Store and Regional Managers to hit targets and deliver a top-tier customer experience.

The role is a full-time, on-site position requiring 40 hours per week with a weekend rota. A hands-on leader with energy and a passion for retail will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or deputy management role.
• Experience in retail or hospitality is mandatory
• Strong leadership and people support skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence using sales data
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong operational understanding and attention to detail

Let’s get cooking! Join ProCook as Deputy Store Manager and be part of the launch of our brand-new Newcastle Eldon Square Store, due to open 2027.

This is a key leadership role supporting the Store Manager in building a high-performing team from day one, shaping a strong store culture, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving strong commercial results.

You’ll be a visible leader on the shop floor, coaching and supporting the team daily, stepping up to lead in the Store Manager’s absence, and helping ensure smooth operations across sales, stock, service, and standards. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager and Regional Manager to deliver the strategy, hit performance targets, and keep the store running at its best.

We’re looking for someone who can support and develop teams, drive performance, and help create a great store environment for both customers and colleagues.

You’ll need

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or deputy management role (essential)
• Experience in retail or hospitality is mandatory

This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends. The schedule consists of one full weekend off, one weekend on, one Saturday off, and one Sunday off within a 4-week cycle.
