About You:

We’re looking for a Deputy Store Manager ready to support the launch of Café Pod’s first store in South Clapham. You’ll be the right hand to the Store Manager, supporting the team, elevating customer experience, and ensuring daily store success.

The Role:

As Deputy Store Manager, you’ll help bring Café Pod’s flagship store to life by ensuring excellent coffee, service, and teamwork daily.

• Store Setup & Team Support: Assist in recruiting, training, and inspiring a passionate team; help establish store layout, coffee knowledge, and service standards.
• Lead by Example: Support achievement of KPIs, coach team members, and maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Grow Local Presence: Build relationships with the community and local businesses, supporting the Store Manager in partnerships and outreach.
• Champion the Customer Journey: Ensure customers leave with more than coffee — brewing tips, stories, and a smile that encourages return visits.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Share feedback and ideas to help refine and shape Café Pod’s retail future.
