Deputy Stage Manager for Major Pantomime

Location: Alhambra Theatre

Deadline: 31 July 2025 at 17:00

The Alhambra Theatre is seeking an experienced Deputy Stage Manager (DSM) for this year's major pantomime, Snow White.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Creating and maintaining clear and accurate prompt copies for the show.
  2. Ensuring all administration is completed efficiently and maintaining complete records.
  3. Preparing and maintaining the rehearsal space for safe and efficient rehearsals.
  4. Providing daily rehearsal calls and assisting with planning and scheduling activities.
  5. Creating and distributing daily rehearsal notes as instructed.
  6. Reporting potential problems early and highlighting any risk assessments needed.
  7. Assisting in producing risk assessments in collaboration with the Stage Manager and Production Manager.
  8. Calling the show and participating in get-in and get-out procedures.
  9. Creating and distributing a show report after each performance in consultation with the Stage Manager.

Dates: 17th November – 28th December

Fee: £3,250 – £3,750 (dependent on experience)

Approximate hours: 250 total hours, around 42 hours per week
