An exciting opportunity has arisen within Neonatal Services at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for Band 6 Sisters for our busy Level 2 (LNU) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Peterborough City Hospital.
Our Neonatal Unit has 20 cots and cares for babies born at 27 weeks gestation or greater.
The post holder will support the Ward Manager, working closely with all disciplines to ensure the promotion of a high standard of care for babies and families and to encourage teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting. The post holder will take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and provide leadership to junior colleagues and students within their area of work.
We are seeking to appoint experienced and motivated nurses to join our team of highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals, who are passionate about delivering a high quality service to babies and their families. You must be an experienced B5 QIS nurse, interested in furthering your leadership skills and should demonstrate expert communication skills and a caring manner.
Please note that we can only consider applications from individuals with a live NMC registration or UK nursing students awaiting their PIN, as we are currently unable to support OSCE.
Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust’s redeployment process.
