Job Opportunity: Senior Nurse in Cardiology

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse to join us in a senior role within our progressive and forward-thinking department. The candidate must have knowledge and interest in Cardiology.

The successful applicant will work alongside senior nursing and medical staff to ensure high standards of clinical care are delivered and that our team of enthusiastic and skilled nursing staff receive appropriate education and professional development.

  1. Requirements:
  2. Recent cardiology experience as a Band 5
  3. Post-registration qualification or experience in Cardiac care
  4. Degree level education (or a commitment to work towards it)

The successful applicant will be a good communicator, provide a high standard of clinical skills, and be keen to help drive and influence innovative practice within isolation nursing.

Additional notes:

  • Only applications from individuals with a live NMC registration or UK nursing students awaiting their PIN will be considered, as OSCE support is currently unavailable.
  • Act as team leader, taking responsibility for the organisation and day-to-day management of a team of nurses.
  • Lead in designated areas in close liaison with the Ward Manager, Matrons, and the Practice Development Team to ensure the highest quality of assessment and care.
