We are currently recruiting a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse for our Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit.
We seek nurses with proven ability to work in this demanding environment. You should be currently working in a critical care unit as either a Band 5 or Band 6. You need to be a dynamic and assertive Critical Care nurse capable of making decisions for Level 2 and Level 3 patients. A relevant post-registration course in Critical Care or Neurosciences nursing is required. A degree is preferred, or you must be committed to obtaining one. You should be highly motivated, possess good communication skills, have evidence of teaching and mentoring staff, and leadership experience in a clinical setting is essential.
The successful candidate will work closely with their Band 7 team leader to develop managerial and leadership skills. In return, you will work in a professional environment with passionate teams dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.
