To work as a team leader and deputise for the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse in line with the nursing framework and in accordance with the nursing philosophy of Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Trust.
To be responsible for assessing patient care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programmes.
To promote and help manage the delivery of a quality nursing service, setting and monitoring clinical standards.

Ideal candidates are RN nurses with an interest in elderly care, with at least 18 months post-registration experience at Senior Band 5 or equivalent. Experience in extended roles is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and leadership ability are essential.
