Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse in Endoscopy at University Hospitals Dorset, based in Poole with cross-site working at Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Wimborne Victoria Hospital as needed.

You will need to be a hard-working and motivated team player committed to delivering high standards of patient-centered care with excellent communication and organisational skills. A flexible attitude and a commitment to your own personal development are essential.

The post holder must demonstrate extensive knowledge of gastroenterology and endoscopy.

The successful candidate will support the Sister and deputise in their absence, being responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day running of the unit. They will work collaboratively with referring clinicians and other specialists as part of the multidisciplinary team. The role involves being proactive in staff development and demonstrating evidence of personal growth within clinical and non-clinical roles.

This role requires an Active UK NMC registration.
