Overview

As we continue to expand and develop as a leading Trauma Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic environment and play a crucial role in delivering care to our complex patient caseload. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Nurse who can rise to the challenges of this fast-paced setting, providing both clinical and managerial leadership. Responsibilities
  • Lead a designated clinical area (majors, minors and resus) and take on aspects of managerial responsibility.
  • Demonstrate drive, commitment and a strong sense of leadership to deliver excellent patient‑centred care.
  • Demonstrate proven clinical ability in A&E with substantial experience at Band 5 or above.
  • Manage all aspects of the ED on a daily basis, including an understanding of flow and capacity, and lead the team to achieve Trust goals.
  • Apply knowledge and leadership to support a progressive, high‑quality, safe care environment.
Qualifications
  • Evidence of significant experience in Emergency Care, with ED experience at Band 5 or higher.
  • First level degree.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • TNCC or ATNC provider status.
  • Ability to evidence achievements and plans to develop practice through a professional portfolio, to be scrutinised as part of the selection process.
