Overview

A leading social support charity is now looking for an experienced care professional to join the team at their Hertfordshire supported living service as Deputy Manager.

This charity provides housing, wellbeing and integrated services across London and the South East of England for people who need additional, often complex social support to live independently.

In this role, you'll be the Deputy Manager for a highly regarded supported living service with a speciality in learning disabilities and ASC.

The team uses the single-customer model and Positive Behaviour Support techniques to support and encourage service users to live the life they choose, as independently and actively as possible, in a highly personalised environment.

You will work closely with the Service Manager to assist in the running of the service and in supervising the team. You\'ll promote excellent, collaborative care practice, effectively manage service resources and - above all - enable service users to engage in a broad range of activities, build skills and social connections, and choose their own path forward.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a Deputy Manager within a supported living/learning disabilities setting.
