Starting salary : Competitive Teacher Pay Structure, £32,850 - £48,050 plus TLR

Hours of work : Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 08:00 – 16:00

Sheffield Springs Academy is seeking to appoint a Deputy SENCO to join their established team. The academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools and academies. Sheffield Springs Academy is an 11-16 secondary school serving the Park, Manor and Castle wards of Sheffield. As part of United Learning our aim is to bring out ‘the Best in Everyone’ and we continuously strive to ensure that students and staff have every opportunity to succeed, with their potential developed to the utmost.

The successful post-holder will assist in managing the provision for pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including promoting high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. To also provide focused support to students with complex needs, ensuring no student is left behind.
