Zusammenfassung

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) will assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in all matters of safeguarding and child protection across the school. They will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment and support of children.

They will advise and support other staff on child welfare and child protection matters, liaise with agencies such as local authorities, police and health partners.

Qualifikationen

• GCSE/NVQ level 3/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience of working with children or young adults in an education setting.
• Experience liaising with external agencies and professionals on child protection matters.
