Beckfoot Thornton is seeking a compassionate Deputy Safeguarding Lead to support wellbeing, safety and inclusion of our students in a large 11-16 community school in Bradford.

You will work with staff, families and external agencies, champion our values, and help create an environment where every child is supported, understood and able to succeed, with DBS checks and safeguarding policies in place.

Job description

Beckfoot Thornton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a real difference to young people’s lives. As a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of our students. Working closely with staff, families, and external agencies, you will support in creating a school environment where all students feel supported, understood and able to succeed. We are looking for someone who:

This is a full-time, permanent role, which is 37 hours per week, term-time only plus 5 days. The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 04.00pm and Friday's 08.00am - 03.30pm.
