Job summary

Beckfoot Thornton is seeking a compassionate Deputy Safeguarding Lead to support wellbeing, safety and inclusion of our students. You will work closely with staff, families and external agencies to create a secure environment where every young person can thrive.

The role is full-time and permanent, 37 hours per week, term-time plus 5 days, with a pattern from Monday to Thursday 08:00–04:00 and Friday 08:00–03:30.

Beckfoot Thornton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a real difference to young people’s lives. As a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of our students. Working closely with staff, families, and external agencies, you will support in creating a school environment where all students feel supported, understood and able to succeed. We are looking for someone who:

This is a full-time, permanent role, which is 37 hours per week, term-time only plus 5 days. The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 04.00pm and Friday's 08.00am - 03.30pm.
