Zero2Five is proud to work on behalf of a quality afterschool and holiday club childcare provider offering wraparound care. They are looking to employ a Deputy Room Lead Nursery Nurse for their settings in Bournemouth. This role offers split shifts, promoting a good work/life balance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Over 2 years' experience in childcare (minimum Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and development
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building with parents, staff, and the community
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety standards
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead activities as directed
  • Organize and run engaging activities for children
  • Support colleagues as necessary
  • Keywork effectively, build positive relationships with families, maintain accurate records, plan and evaluate play activities
  • Ensure children's happiness and well-being
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote child safety
  • Assist in school pick-ups if needed
  • Maintain children's health and safety standards
  • Adhere to club policies and the Early Years Foundation Stage
