An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Residential Deputy Manager to join a well-established 2-bed children's home in Warrington. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and child-focused individual to support the Registered Manager in delivering outstanding care and creating a safe, supportive environment for the young people in our service.

? About the Role:
Full-time, 37 hours per week on a rota basis (including weekends and sleep-in duties).

Play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the home.

Provide guidance and support to a team of residential care staff.

Ensure the service meets the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.

Foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people to thrive.

? Additional Benefits:
20% enhancements Monday–Friday (7pm–11pm)

30% enhancements Saturday & Sunday evenings (7pm–11pm)

Easily commutable from Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and Merseyside

? Essential Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People / Diploma in Social Care

Current First Aid, Fire Safety, and Team Teach (or similar) certificates

Experience working with children in a social care setting

Sound understanding of the needs and behaviours of young people

Experience supervising or managing staff

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Calm, flexible, and reflective approach to working with young people

Committed to safeguarding and professional standards

Willing to work unsociable hours and complete sleep-ins on a rota basis

? Desirable:
NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 5 in Care/Management

Understanding of performance and budget management

Full UK Driving Licence
