An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Residential Deputy Manager to join a well-established 2-bed children's home in Warrington. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and child-focused individual to support the Registered Manager in delivering outstanding care and creating a safe, supportive environment for the young people in our service.

? About the Role:
  • Full-time, 37 hours per week on a rota basis (including weekends and sleep-in duties).

  • Play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of the home.

  • Provide guidance and support to a team of residential care staff.

  • Ensure the service meets the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.

  • Foster a nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people to thrive.

  • 20% enhancements Monday–Friday (7pm–11pm)

  • 30% enhancements Saturday & Sunday evenings (7pm–11pm)

? Essential Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People / Diploma in Social Care

  • Current First Aid, Fire Safety, and Team Teach (or similar) certificates

  • Experience working with children in a social care setting

  • Sound understanding of the needs and behaviours of young people

  • Experience supervising or managing staff

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Calm, flexible, and reflective approach to working with young people

  • Committed to safeguarding and professional standards

  • Willing to work unsociable hours and complete sleep-ins on a rota basis

? Desirable:
  • NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 5 in Care/Management

  • Understanding of performance and budget management

  • Full UK Driving Licence
