Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a permanent Deputy Quality Governance & Audit Manager to work within the CCICP Quality Team, reporting to the Quality Governance Manager. A clinical background is essential to support risk, incident review and learning across the division.

The post focuses on robust risk assessments, SOP development and assurance activities aligned with national standards and the Trust strategy. Flexible working and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• HCPC / NMC registered as required for professional practice.
• Experience of undertaking audits and quality governance activities.
• Experience of risk management and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the Quality Governance agenda including risk management, quality surveillance, information governance and safety improvements.
• Coordinate investigations and reports on patient safety incidents and serious incidents with the Quality Governance team and statutory bodies.
• Support learning from incidents, horizon scanning and action planning to improve service delivery across the division.
• Ensure compliance with PSIRF, risk standards and national guidance within the division.
