You will line manage a small group of the teaching team (specifically English & maths specialists) and support with the quality of delivery across the centre, and monitoring and tracking of outcomes. The role also includes around 12 hours of contact time and delivery of teaching and support sessions as part of the role.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Line management of a team of teachers
  • Delivery around aspects of English, Maths, pastoral and tutorial.
  • Deputise for Programme Leader in relation to day-day management of the centre.
  • Ensure that the Maths & English curriculum is delivered effectively and efficiently, working with central teams and other managers to raise standards.
  • Safeguarding including acting as a designated safeguarding lead in your centre.
  • Working with employers and others in the community to provide enhanced learning experiences for students.
