As one of two deputy principals, you will work in close partnership with the principal and fellow DP. The role may require a maximum FTTE 0.2 classroom release, depending on 2027 funding allocations.

Qualifications

  • Experience as Deputy Principal with leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience in neurodiversity, trauma-informed and restorative practices.
  • Learning support/SENCO experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our high-functioning Learning Support team and oversee school-wide pastoral care and wellbeing.
  • Co-ordinate Deputy Principal responsibilities with the principal and fellow DP.
  • Contribute to areas such as Digital Technology, Schoolwide Assessment/Reporting, HERO implementation, Mathematics, Wellbeing or Performance Coaching as requested.

The role

This is a 4-Management Unit (4MU) DP position. As one of two deputy principals, you will work in close partnership with the principal and fellow DP. Currently, this role may require a maximum of FTTE 0.2 classroom release component, depending on 2027 funding allocations still to be confirmed.

A primary focus of this role is leading our high-functioning Learning Support team and overseeing school-wide pastoral care and wellbeing. The position blends core Deputy Principal responsibilities with the Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) role. The successful candidate must have experience in neurodiversity, trauma-informed and restorative practices; learning support/SENCO experience is highly preferred.
