Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 ans d'expérience avec ASC, ADHD ou SEMH.
  • Expérience en collaboration multi-agence et connaissance de la législation sur la protection de l'enfance.

As a Pastoral Manager, you’ll take the lead in enabling your team to meet our young peoples’ emotional needs. Our young people have challenging complex emotional and behavioural needs such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, SEMH, and require more support than most. You’ll ensure they receive high standards of care by working with families and developing tailored programs for each individual young person. Through careful assessment and planning, you’ll create a positive learning environment where every young person can thrive.

With experience working with young people with BESD or ASD in a school or care setting, you will understand their developmental needs and what pastoral care entails. A good listener who can motivate your team, you inspire young people to achieve. Flexibility, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively will make you an asset to the Witherslack Group.

Because Of

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with ASC, ADHD, or SEMH pupils, and with families in challenging circumstances
  • Experience in multi-agency collaboration, with knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation
  • NVQ Level 3 in Care or Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Ideally, a leadership-related qualification
  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) certification
  • Experience in staff appraisal, performance management, and supervision
