Were proud to be part of the Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS), a collaborative initiative bringing together IAPT services and primary care mental health support across Leeds. Working alongside around 200 colleagues across seven operational teams, together were able to support up to 28,000 people with complex mental health needs every year. Were looking for a proactive and inspiringDeputy Operational Team Managerto work alongside our hub management team, to lead practitioners and administrators and shape the smooth running of our service, with people at the centre of everything we do.

Job responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Lead daily service operations and provide expert guidance on operational, clinical and safeguarding issues
  • Manage and support the team through line management, supervision, and professional development
  • Drive recruitment and implement practice guidelines to uphold service excellence
  • Build strong external partnerships and champion inclusive, accessible services that reach disadvantaged communities

What you'll bring:

  • Experience supporting mental health or therapy services, with a confident, compassionate approach
  • Natural leadership and people skills to guide and energise a diverse team
  • Sound judgement in complex safeguarding and risk situations
  • A passion for equity, inclusion, and collaborative working with partners
