Job description

Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Kincardine Technicians

The Northern Cluster service team is responsible for service and maintenance of 5 V164 Wind Turbine Generator turbines, located in Kincardine, Aberdeen, Scotland.

The department fosters an open and informal culture, emphasizing teamwork and good communication as keys to success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry as part of a highly motivated team.

Responsibilities

1. Splitting time between WTG service and troubleshooting offshore, providing general support to the Supervisor based on site activities.
2. Performing electrical and mechanical operations.
3. Maintaining and upgrading installations.
4. Planning daily service tasks.
5. Approving technician hours.
6. Planning statutory tasks with the customer.
7. Providing technical support for turbine troubleshooting.

Qualifications

1. Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school, college, or university.
2. Professional offshore experience in electrical or mechanical fields.
3. High voltage knowledge and switching experience are advantageous.
4. Fluent in English.
5. Proficient in MS Office.
6. Driving license category B.
