Qualifications

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in a hands-on role, supporting both staff and residents while ensuring high clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
· Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance.
· Drive quality governance, ensuring proactive problem identification and resolution.
· Oversee staff development, supervision, and performance management to maintain consistency
· Implement turnaround strategies to improve care standards and achieve a positive CQC outcome.
· Assist in managing occupancy levels and financial performance to meet business objectives.
· Support with on-call duties, including covering occasional night and weekend shifts when required.

Requirements:
· Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) preferred but open to experienced residential care managers.
· Proven leadership experience in a nursing or residential care setting.
· Strong understanding of CQC regulations, quality governance, and safeguarding procedures.
· Experience in turnaround environments, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Ability to manage challenging environments, support change, and establish new structures.
· Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Benefits:
· Competitive hourly rate of £21 per hour (£43,680 annually).
· 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
