We’re looking for a dynamic Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team at a welcoming 65-bedded nursing dementia home in Watton. About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home. From maintaining high-quality care standards to motivating your team, your role will be vital in shaping a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the overall management of the home, ensuring resident well-being is always the top priority
  • Lead by example, mentoring and guiding a team of healthcare professionals
  • Oversee care planning—conducting regular reviews and ensuring plans reflect individual needs
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards
  • Play a key role in recruitment, rota management, and staff development
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Assist with budget management, reporting, and general administration
  • Foster a culture of empathy, respect, and excellence in care delivery
What We’re Looking For
