Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager in Amersham to support day-to-day running of an early years setting for 3 months to 5 years.

The role focuses on the preschool room initially, with progression to office-based management and a structured handover ahead of maternity cover. Requires Level 3 EYFS qualification and Room Leader experience; salary £34,000 p.a. and 40–41.5 hours/week.

Qualifikationen

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience at Room Leader level or above in an early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
• Confident supporting staff, maintaining standards and helping run the nursery.
• Clear understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills for collaboration with colleagues and parents.

Aufgaben

• Support the day-to-day management of the nursery, maintaining high standards of care and education.
• Initially work in the preschool room, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Plan and support age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistent practice and a positive learning environment.
• Help ensure safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Develop management responsibilities through a structured handover towards a more office-based role.
